BOULDER, COLO (May 22, 2019). A percentage of each Baxter Collection product benefits the Colorado Canine Rescue, a non-profit organization established to reduce the number of dogs euthanized by rescuing, fostering, and placing them in permanent, loving homes.

To celebrate the launch of this new collection, and to raise money for the Boulder-based charity, Headsweats will host a “Baxter & Brews” event Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Sanitas Brewing Company located at 3550 Frontier Ave. Unit A in Boulder. This event, open to the public, will feature a raffle with prizes from Headsweats, Colorado Canine Rescue and Sanitas Brewing Company as well as foster dogs available for adoption, children’s activities, happy hour pricing and doggie treats.

Baxter, a six-year-old chihuahua was adopted in 2012 by Headsweats Graphic Designer, Tim Ray from the Colorado Canine Rescue. He won over the hearts of all those he met, becoming an honorary member of the Headsweats team by spending time at the office and sharing wet kisses and tail wags.

“After Baxter passed away last year, I felt compelled to honor him.” Ray said. “This collection commemorates my best friend and helps to benefit other shelter dogs. The best part about this new line is how close it is to many of our employees, they all shared a special relationship with Baxter and are happy to honor him in this way.”
