"Incredible comfort and design. You never feel the hat, I never have to think about it because the weight and material are phenomenal!"
"Love these hats!"
"Nice material just like picture but runs big for women with smaller head."
"As a triathlete going into the run from the bike segment, I am already hot and so is my head. I love the effect of the ice on my temples and how it gives the initial cool-down. One thought for improvement is to add a water barrier to the to the outside of the ice pocket so that all the melted ice goes to the head."
"Works great!"
"Worn for the 1st and only time at Ironman in Kona 2024. Liked: The had did not seem bulky and the hat worked. I tried to wear the Omius at IM Texas and the bulkiness of that plus irritating my head, I threw it out halfway through the race. The ice chunks were definitely big but I'd grab a cup, open one side, dump the ice in and then when I was done through the aid station with my water and other fluids, I'd grab a couple pieces and switch it to the other side. I don't know if this should be listed as a like or dislike, but I couldn't actually feel the ice on my head. I'd come up to an aid station and tap the pockets to see if they were empty or not. I was expecting my head to be "freezing" because ice was sitting on it but I never got that feeling. Doesn't mean the hat didn't work. Dislike: The front and top parts of the hat, seemed to block the water from getting to my head. I felt like that portion could have been more opened and allowing some water to get into the hat and onto my head, would have helped with the cooling better. I seen a comment about a visor with ice on the side and though I wouldn't go that far, as a hat protects from the sun better for us bald people, I feel like there is improvement in the hat in this area."
"This hat has worked great during my very humid predawn runs. I pack ice in small plastic snack bags to stash in each pocket. I pull the bags out to place against my neck and face as I run. Then, I pour the melted ice on my neck. It really helps for my 6 -7 mile runs when I don’t have the option to add more ice during the run. I love the adjustable band to customize the fit. The hat dries quickly and it is lightweight."
"Very well designed product, that looks as cool as well as it performs. The side pouches perfectly fit my ice cubes and keep my head cool during runs."
"Brilliant invention that worked great in the 90 degrees that I ran in!"
