"This hat has a nice fit to it and is comfortable, but I bought it for out on the water while paddling my kayaks, to improve my visibility. The issue is that the hat rapidly faded out under UV exposure and went from hi-vis yellow to a dull pale yellow. I'll be trying another company's hi-vis yellow hat to see if it holds its color better. If it doesn't, I would probably still go with the other company's hat, as it's $5 cheaper."
